Thank you for your support of the 2nd Annual Sip 'n' Savor Event Whether a sponsor, participating area restaurant, winery or microbrewery, volunteer, merchant donor or event attendee, your support of the Kiwanis Club is truly apreciated. We're still tallying the results but early signs indicate we were able to raise approximately $14,000 which will be invested back into the community in the form of programs for children and seniors. _______________________________________
The Kiwanis Club of Canandaigua is one part of Kiwanis International, a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one community and one child at a time. We perform many community service projects in Canandaigua to help serve children, including, to name a few, our holiday party for children, Easter egg hunt, literacy projects, and fishing trip with Ontario ARC participants. In addition, we provide scholarships for deserving Canandaigua Academy high school students, send children to summer camp, support future community leaders through our Key Leader program, fund many programs that support children, and so much more. If you get a thrill out of seeing a smiling face on a neglected youth, or you seek the fellowship of a caring group of men and women, you will fit perfectly into our Canandaigua Kiwanis Family.
