We’re excited to again participate in Canandaigua Academy’s Open House on Thursday, September 11, from 5:00–7:00 PM. 

Last year, we were part of the Academy's efforts to incorporate community partners into their Open House, and we’re thrilled to continue again this year. The Atrium will once again be reserved for local organizations to connect with students, families, and staff as we begin the new school year.

In addition to visiting with teachers in their hallways, attendees will have the opportunity to explore a Student Activities Fair, enjoy a food truck fundraiser, and visit with community partners, like Kiwanis, who offer valuable resources and services to our school community.  Stop and visit our Kiwanis representatives that will be at our table!

The 1st Annual combined Geneva and Canandaigua Cornhole Tournament to support Finger Lakes area youth attending Kamp Kiwanis.  See flyer for complete details and registration information.

2025-26 Kiwanis Club of Canandaigua Officers & Committee Kickoff Event
When: Monday September 22th at 6:00 PM
Who: All Officers, Board Members and Committee Chairs for 2025-26 and their
significant others.
Why: Get to know your fellow leaders, find out about updates for the coming
year and have fun!
Where: The Salvation Army 110 Salltonstall Street, Canandaigua NY 
Details: We will be having a potluck supper. Please bring a dish to pass.

A great opportunity for all Kiwanis members to just spend a relaxing evening together, no Agenda, no reports, just a fun evening to socialize.  Feel free to bring a friend or family member.  As we will be gathering this time at Tim Hortons near Parkway Plazathe Beehive, food will be available, and of course lots of refreshments.  So Kick Back and enjoy the company of each other!!

Tour new homeless shelter facility for Family Promise of Ontario County located at 495 North Main Street

Interclub with Eastern Wayne club at Westside Fuel in Clyde NY.  

This year we will celebrate Halloween as part of the Fall Into Canandaigua event at Downtown Canandaigua, and with the Town of Canandaigua at Outhouse Park/Motion Junction (this was previously held in the past at Onanda Park)

The Downtown event will be from 11am to 3pm, and will feature our own Halloween Station along with ac tivities for Children.  Sign-up to man our Boo..th and provide entertainment for the Community.

The Town of Canandaigua event will be a "Trunk & Treat style event from 2pm to 5pm, and will cover the Outhouse Park and Motion Junction area.  Hope you will be able to help.

Please bring gift donations for kids ages 2-12 for the Salvation Army/Kiwanis Christmas Party

Bell Ringing for the Salvation Army will be on Saturday, November 29 from 10am to 7pm.  Locations will again include TOPS Food Market, Ryans Liquor, Walmart Retail entrance, and Walmart Grocery entrance.

Back the Blue Ontario County/Police Benevolent Association and Canandaigua PD Chief to discuss the recent Shop with a Cop event

Thank you to everyone who came out to our first meeting. We are deffinitely off and running. We will meet again on January 6th at 6 at the Mettings to check on our progress.  Kim Sandic will bring food and Mettings will provide beverages.

Our Farmington Victor Interclub will be An Evening of Great Tastes on  January 31 from 6:30-9:30 at Ravenwood Golf Club.

Our hope is to get a table along with Bushnells Basin-Pittsford. So the costper tickets will depend on rather or not we need to buy individual tickets which are $47 each or reserved table tickets at $42 each.  Pam Metting will purchased the tickets once we have decided and then participants can reimburse her.

John Treahy will be leading our annual Youth Protection training

Chef and Sip Challenge meeting at the Mettings to check on progress for the event.  The meeting will be at the Mettings, 148 Stewart Place at 6 on 2/19.  Sheila will be bringing an entre and Shannon will bring a dessert.

Our theme this year will be Safari! Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! It will be so much fun and a great way to spend a cold February day! An estimated 250 children and their families will attend this free event at the Sands Family YMCA.

Free carnival games, bounce houses, snacks, and crafts! 

All are welcome to help the Chef and Sip Committee assemble baskets for our event. We will start at 5:00 but please come whenever you can make it.  Food will be provided. We will meet at the Metting's house at 148 Stewart Place. 

Will need two groups one to pick up baskets and bring them to Hotel Canandagua and one to pick up items at the shed and bring them to the hotel.  We will meet at 9.
